Absolutely loved everything about it. Solid, real family house renovated to a modern standard of comfort and convenience. The kitchen was stocked with spices, oil, as well as cookware and dishes. we played monopoly and it felt like Christmas.

Housekeeping less than perfect - oven needed cleaning, fingermarks on glass doors and windows, few obviously old cobwebs about. Too much clutter in cupboards and drawers.

The location was perfect, with easy access to Tarbert and stunning beaches like Luskentyre and Seilibost. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, leaving us with a wonderful welcome pack. The cottage was well-equipped and had everything we needed for a peaceful getaway.

I had the most wonderful stay at this cosy cottage in Manish. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and I loved waking up to the beautiful scenery every morning. The cottage itself was well-maintained and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were comfy, and the shower was superb. The location was peaceful and allowed for easy access to Tarbert village. The wifi worked perfectly, which was a plus. I had a fantastic time and would highly recommend George's House - 1 Leacklee to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Drawbacks: The housekeeping could have been better, as there were some areas that needed cleaning and a bit of clutter in the cupboards and drawers. Additionally, there was no storage space in the kitchen for the food items I brought with me.

Seals basking at the end of the bay close to the shoreline and more seals in neighboring bays on little islands close to the shore. Marion and her hubby are very friendly and leave you a wonderful welcome pack. Super location with all necessary facilities, good wifi, tumble drier, lovely conservatory to soak up the sun out of the wind. Found the North Harbour Bistro on Scalpay - a real must for foodies.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we enjoyed waking up to beautiful views every morning. The location was perfect - remote enough to feel peaceful, but still within easy reach of Tarbert. We even spotted seals basking at the end of the bay and on neighboring islands. The welcome pack provided by the owners was a lovely touch, and their friendly dogs Jasper and Glenn made us feel right at home.

There was honestly nothing we didn't like about our stay. The only minor suggestion we have would be to add a high chair to the inventory, as the travel cot was a bit basic.

George's House - 1 Leacklee was a fantastic value for the money. The cottage was well-maintained, cozy, and had all the conveniences we needed. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful sights of Harris, and the owner was incredibly helpful and kind.
